Just Kids has had a long-standing partnership with the William Floyd School District to operate one of Suffolk County’s largest UPK programs located in several of the William Floyd Elementary Schools. In addition, Just Kids ECLC operates several integrated classrooms combining UPK children with children who have special needs. Related services such as speech, physical, and occupational therapy along with counseling are provided in large, state of the art classrooms. Our site is fortunate to include resources from both Just Kids and the local district (ex. smartboards, special building and district-wide events and activities, etc.). The Creative Curriculum is utilized and aligns nicely with the Prekindergarten Early Learning Standards.

The William Floyd School District has collected data regarding the efficacy of the UPK program that spans over ten years of the program. The annual outcomes are used to inform instruction and staff development opportunities.
