Early Intervention

Just Kids Diagnostic and Treatment Center provides quality home and community based Early Intervention services to infants and toddlers under the age of three. Services provided include special instruction, speech and feeding therapy, as well as physical and occupational therapies. All interventionists are licensed and certified in their respective fields and have expertise in early childhood development.

Just Kids recognizes the importance of family involvement. Parents and caregivers play a central role in the child’s development, and they are encouraged to actively participate in the intervention process. Professionals work closely with families to provide support, training, and resources that empower families to promote their child’s development.

Services are provided in the child’s natural environment where they spend most of their time such as home, daycare or community settings. This approach helps to ensure that the child’s developmental needs are addressed within their daily routines and activities.

Interventions are play-based and functional and incorporate developmentally appropriate activities designed to engage the child while targeting specific goals.

Just Kids Early Intervention professionals honor the unique qualities of each child and family, and respect and encourage their choices, values, ideas, and competence.
